WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC put together a strong performance in their inaugural 2024 season with big wins, lots of goals, and great crowds at 4Rivers Equipment Stadium.
Here’s a look back at the season by the numbers:
2 – Rain’s finish in the USL W League’s Mountain Division, placing just behind national runners-up Colorado Storm in the table. The Rain were one of just two teams to get a win against Colorado Storm in 2024, the other being the North Carolina Courage U23s in the national championship match.
25 – Total points for the Rain this season, with eight wins and a draw in their 12 USL W League matches.
30 – Rain’s goal differential in 2024, with 43 goals scored and just 13 allowed. The Rain also had 16 different goal scorers in the 2024 USL W League season. The Rain scored four or more goals five times in their 12 matches this season.
8 – Forward Skylar Haase led the Rain with eight goals in 2024, ranking third in the Mountain Division and tied for 24th among the 80 USL W League teams nationally.
14 – Rain’s highest ranking in the USL W League’s national power rankings.
2 – Hat tricks scored by the Rain this season. Skylar Haase netted the first hat trick in club history on May 26 and Natalie Bunch earned one on June 19.
6 – Players with professional experience on the 2024 Rain roster. Midfielder Sabrina Weinman became the sixth in July when she was signed by the NWSL’s Kansas City Current as a National Team Replacement Player.
