WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that defender Jordan Whiteaker has joined the club for the 2024 season.
Whiteaker enrolled at Texas Christian University this spring, but will not play for the Horned Frogs until the fall 2024 season.
“Jordan’s going to be a great defender for us,” Rain FC head coach Kelly Brown said. “She holds her position well, likes to ping a ball over 60 yards, I’m excited to watch her grow as a player.”
Whiteaker enrolled early at TCU after winning a state championship with Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton in 2023, capping an 18-1 season.
For her efforts, she was named Colorado’s 4A Player of the Year in 2023, also earning a first team all-state selection.
She said she is looking forward to playing at a higher level with the Rain this summer.
“Playing with Rain will help me improve my skills, fitness, and mentality towards soccer,” Whiteaker said.
