WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that midfielder Liv Stutzman has joined the club for the 2024 season.
A standout at Colorado State University, Stutzman played in all 21 matches for the Rams in 2023, scoring five goals and adding two assists to help them earn a spot in the Mountain West championship match for the first time in program history.
“She’s very poised in midfield, she controls the game. She’s going to be the heartbeat for us,” Rain FC head coach Kelly Brown said.
Prior to joining CSU in 2023, Stutzman played her first two collegiate seasons at Wyoming, starting 37 times for the Cowgirls and tallying three goals and two assists. She won the Mountain West championship with Wyoming in 2022.
Stutzman played in high school at Rocky Mountain in Fort Collins and was named to the all-conference team three times with the Lobos.
She said she is excited to spend her summer playing in Rain colors.
“I want to represent my local team, play with girls that I grew up with, and have the chance of winning a USL national championship,” Stutzman said.
