WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Rain FC announce that defender Taryn Rea has committed to join the club for the 2024 season.
Rea played her sophomore season at Northern Colorado last fall, playing in 18 games and making a pair of starts for the Bears.
She also played seven games as a freshman at UNC.
“She’s relentless and works hard and never stops running,” Rain FC head coach Kelly Brown said.
Rea was a Colorado 5A state champion with Broomfield High School in 2021, and returned to the state championship game the next year as well. She earned all-state honors in each of her final two high school seasons.
She said she is looking forward to a summer with the Rain.
“I’m excited to play with high level players and for the competitive and elite environment,” Rea said.
